A repeat of the walk I led on 5th September 2013 but with only Hugh and Dubbo for company then. Meet at the stile [GR 215839] at the top of the hill where people normally park when climbing on Bamford Edge [plenty of space for parking along the edge of the road]. The walk heads approx. NE passing a stone circle, then along Stanage Edge, walking below High Neb and Crow Chin to the A57 Manchester Road, which we’ll briefly walk along before joining a path to Cutthroat Bridge. Skirting Bamford Moor on a good track and path gives great views over Ladybower Reservoir, then along Bamford Edge and back to the cars. If you want to share a lift, let me know
NB. I’m afraid no dogs are allowed, even on leads apparently, on the access land we’ll be walking over.
