Thursday Walk 28th November Hartington The Dry (ish) Route!

Meet at 11 o’clock at the duck pond in Hartington. Map reference 127605. Free parking around the village.
This route crosses fields and a wood skirting Sheen and arrives at Sheen Hill (an optional diversion to the trig point and lovely views – weather permitting).
From here we will drop down to Pilsbury for lunch at the castle. We then take the path above the river to return to Hartington. Six and a half miles approximately.
Unlike my previous walk from Hartington, no paddling or wading will be required but mud cannot be ruled out!
