Plan is to meet in Bolsterstone by the village church. SK 270967. Route down to and along south side of Broomhead Reservoir, Broomhead Park, Ewden Bridge, Salts Hill, return via Heads Lane. 6 miles.
10 of us met in Bolsterstone and dropped down through bluebell-filled woods to Broomhead Reservoir and walked along south side. Despite only checking out the walk a few days before, too much chatting led to us taking wrong turning and having to back-track in the woods at Wigtwizzle, but finally escaped into Broomhead Park with great views and cute lambs. Bit of road walking down to Ewden Bridge, then lunch with a view and an agreed diversion up to the trig point on Whitwell Moor. Along Heads Lane back to Bolsterstone. Nice warm day for it too. Bron.
