Fantastic group of 11 people plus guest dog set off from Derwent heading for Rowlee pastures passed LockerbrooknOutdoor Centre – dog poo drop off point (pos too much detail now). After a gentle climb up the hill a coffee stop with great views over Woodland Valley.. Comming round to form the first loop of a figure of eight, we headed out the ridge to Crook Hill where after a couple of prompts the meet leader found some scabby bits of shade for dinner. A drop down to Derwent resevoir and then a mainly shaded path back to the cars. Lovely company. Thanks to all that could make it.
