    Meet at the Redmires car park (GR SK 256 857) for a 6.5ish mile circuit via the Headstone, Wyming Brook, Fulwood Head and White Stones. Park at the end of the road if the car park is full. Hope to see you there, Dave.

    I’ll drive up toward Redmires tomorrow morning to check road conditions and if the road is not passable I will post a message here. Backup plan will be to park on or near Blackbrook Road, and meet opposite the bus turnround at Lodge Moor – the road should be clear to there. Check your mail about 9.30 to 10am. Dave

    The road is clear to just below the reservoirs, then car tracks for the last few hundred yards, so we’ll stick with the original route. Just be careful of pedestrians and water on the cleared road, a broken down bus and car in Lodge Moor, and the snow on the final section.
