Dear All
The walk this Thursday will be approximately 6.5 to 7 miles.
The route takes us from the start under Bamford Edge along to Greens House and then works its way to Bamford. We cross the river at the weir and go to the railway line which takes us to the dam. The only climb of any substance comes after this as we work our way up to and along Bamford Edge before descending to the start.
Forecast is mixed so suggest stout waterproofs may be needed!
