Thursday 9th October Loxley Valley walk

Thought we would have a change & try pastures new !
Meet at Rowal Bridge G.R.299895.There is a small parking area with spaces for about 4 or 5 cars but with more space on the roadside nearby.Car sharing would be advisable.
The route will be a figure of 8.The first half ascends via Storrs & Hill Top to Dungworth before descending to the valley floor and so back to Rowal Bridge.The second half continues down the valley below Wisewood cemetry before a stiff climb to the top of Acorn Hill and a descent back to Rowal Bridge.
Distance 5.5 miles ( 4 in the first half).
