7 of us enjoyed a walk (without the hoped-for views) from Barber Booth, up Chapel Gate onto Rushup Edge, past Lord’s Seat to Mam Nick and then up to Mam Tor. A few Duke of Edinburgh groups out, and the usual crowds at Mam Tor, despite pretty fierce winds. Comment from one youngster in shorts “it’s absolute hell up there”! Found a fairly sheltered hollow for our lunch (see photo on WhatsApp). Cloud lifted a little on our walk down from Hollin’s Cross back to Barber Booth. Enjoyed tea and cake at the Penny Pot at Edale Station afterwards. Thank you all for your company! Nick and Bron
