A false prediction that parking space might be at a premium lead to a prompt start from Edale. However within 2 minutes there was a photography stop at a Bumble Bees of the Peak poster.(attached). We crossed fields to Ollerbrook and up to where an acrobatic lamb provided some amusement. The path zigzagged to a level tussocky area where we stopped for coffee and admired the unfolding view over Edale. A rickety stile and a grassy rake brought us to the plateau and more extensive views. A cooling breeze was very welcome as we continued in glorious weather to a lunch stop at a smal crag alongside the path where a pocketed wall provided entertainment for some.(V0-)
We allowed a large Ramblers party to overtake us at the bottom of Jaggers Clough and continued in rather warm conditions via Rowland Cote back to Edale.
A super day for a Kinder walk.
Thanks to all for your company
