Meet at 10am at GR 237767.
Going south out of Grindleford towards Calver on the B6001 take the first right B6521 to Eyam which says ‘road closed except for access’. We will meet about 300metres up this road, immediately past the sign and turning for ‘Natural Earth’ and ‘Stoke Hall Quarry’. It’s OK to drive this far and seems ok to park on the road. There is a landslip further on blocking the road to vehicles other than bikes.
Walk is about 5miles linking Eyam, Stoney and Grindleford on paths and tracks showing no sign of bracken. Some fields we’ll cross have cattle with calves so may be best without dogs.
Hope lots of you can make it.
Marian
