30 years ago this Autumn I was fortunate enough to join the Castle Mountaineering Club. Vanda had already been a member for 5 years and Linda joined around the same time. [She was a child climber I believe!]
To celebrate the passing of the years I’m organising this Sunday’s meet at STANAGE POPULAR END from 10.30. Naturally we shall congregate around ‘Castle Crack’ – Mod, as it may be the only thing I’m capable of climbing these days!!! For those of tender years, there is of course, plenty of harder stuff to occupy the day!
If I can engage porters to carry it up there, cake and fizzy drink in bottles will be available.Hope to see you there,
