Summer Alps

Hi,
Not a club event, but just posting here in case anyone is interested. I’ve hardly ever been to the Alps in summer so probably going to do a train trip across to the Swiss and/or Italian Alps this summer- maybe early June- to do some walking and via ferrata. Got in mind Eiger Rotstock, Zermatt walk to Hornli Hut, and possibly Dolomites – via ferrata?

Did you see the recent tv programme featuring a train journey ending in Zermatt via some spectacular tunnels and scenery? Unfortunately I can’t remember which channel it was on, but well worth watching if you can find it, assuming you’ve not already seen it.
