Meet at the lay-by above Fox House, [or be cheeky and use their car park on the basis we’ll end up in there!] for an 11am start to get the New Year off to a relatively gentle start which will hopefully include a pub stop, possible pub lunch unless over-crowded, in which case bring a butty if you are worried about starvation. Could be a good way to ease into the New Year’s resolutions for some!!
Haven’t decided on a definite route yet, see what the weather’s like, but be assured it WON’T be a mega-bog trot or a Pendlebury long distance special. Think of it more as a Thursday walk with trimmings suitable for [almost] all.
