Good morningOn behalf of PHASE Worldwide and Sherpa Aid UK I would like to thank you for attending ‘A Mountain to Climb’ on Thursday 8th October.
The event raised £3,773 which will enable PHASE Worldwide to continue to work alongside extremely poor and remote Himalayan communities in Nepal, many of whom have been badly affected by the recent earthquakes that shook the country in April and May. In some areas of Nepal nearly all homes have been destroyed and thousands of people are still living under canvas.
Your generosity will also enable Sherpa Aid UK to support mountain workers and their families who find themselves in need because of illness, accident or injury.
With this in mind we continue our series of autumn events in aid of Sherpa Aid UK.
On Thursday 29th October we have Squash Falconer speaking at Jagged Globe’s HQ on Mowbray Street, Sheffield. Squash is an all-round adventurer with a love for big mountains and flying off them. Providing an energetic and exciting talk, Squash is a must see and will leave you entertained and inspired.
On the 12th November we have Calum Musket and Ben Silvestre also speaking at Jagged Globe’s HQ on Mowbray Street, Sheffield. Both Calum and Ben are pushing the limits of climbing all around the world and will have fantastic tales of big climbs, from Patagonia to Alaska.
Both events are £10 with tickets available from Jagged Globe, with all proceeds going to Sherpa Aid UK.
