The Committee has recently confirmed that the Club will donate some obsolete items of equipment together with a large number of old climbing guides to the Mountain Heritage Trust. I intend to donate some old items of climbing equipment that I have collected over the years. I will be delivering them to the MHT in the Lakes sometime this summer.
Have you items that you would like to donate? Old skis and ice axes have been mentioned to me but it could be anything to do with mountaineering. Please contact me if you want further information or see: http://www.mountain-heritage.org
MHT are holding exhibitions of Women in Climbing and on Chris Bonnington at Keswick Museum this year.
