Mountain first aid course – Hathersage on 13 and 14 May, 2023.
Hosted by the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) and the British Mountain Medicine Society (BMMS) this event is for anyone interested in mountain medicine.
The course is good value at £135 for both days plus a BBQ and talk on Sat evening.This is probably the most practical mountain first aid course you can attend. Its led by professional doctors, who have extensive experience of mountain rescue – and also happen to be friends of mine. I’ve been on one of their courses and it was excellent.
