Time to get the cycle challenge started with a ride round the reservoirs starting at Fairholmes café area GR173894 on Monday 10th July at 2pm. Free parking areas by the road leading to Fairholmes at various points shortly before Fairholmes itself. Mix of tarmac and forestry track type surfaces and pretty much any bike will be ok . Approx 15miles at a relaxed pace to suit everyone and to enjoy the views. All welcome.
For those who would like a longer route meet at Ringinglow for a prompt 12.15pm depart for a cycle via Hathersage, Bamford station, then old rail track cycleway to Yorkshire Bridge and Fairholmes. Should have time for cuppa before joining reservoir cycling group. Return to Ringinglow under Bamford and Stanage edges.
