Mike Jackson has sent the following message:

“Friends. It is with great sadness that I have to inform
you that Jill rang this morning to say that Mike passed
away around midnight. All his family were with him and
the end was thankfully peaceful. Jill will let us know
the funeral arrangements in due course. Regards, Mike.”

Mike was a very long standing club member. He joined just a
few months after it started. Many older club members will
have good memories of days out in the mountains with Mike,
and will be saddened by this news.

Mike’s funeral has now been arranged for Tuesday 1st November 10.30 to 11.15 at Hutcliffe Wood Crematorium, followed by a reception at Castle Inn, Twentywell Lane, to which all friends are invited.
