Beginning at the end of April 2016 there was a problem
with the Message Board on the CMC website

When a message is posted on the Message Board, an email
notification should be sent to all members giving the title
and the text of the message posted. However some members
(including myself) began not receiving these notifications,
though of course they could still visit the website and look
at the Messages there.
On investigation it appeared that the problem arose because
the email address info@castlemountaineering.com (or the
IP address associated with it) from which the notifications
were sent had been blacklisted by Barracuda, leading some
Internet Service Providers to refuse to process and pass them
on. This is a bit technical so don’t worry if it doesn’t
mean much to you. The important point is that as from about
16 September the blacklisting has been withdrawn and
everyone should now be getting the notifications when messages
are posted on the Message Board.
