12 of us met at Monyash car park – a relief to me that quite a few regulars were back from their holidays!

Starting off on the Limestone Way we walked SE across fields with indistinct paths to the impressive Arbor Low Neolithic Henge monument, and Gib Hill burial mound. These were new places for some of the group and overdue revisits for others.

A few drops of rain interrupted our coffee stop at the tip of Cales Dale, but otherwise we just had exhilarating blowy conditions. Managed to avoid some frisky cattle.

I think there were some new paths for everyone in the group. 61/2 miles and a cafe stop at the end. Some photos already on the Walking WhatsApp.

    Chris
