Perfect weather, a nice group to enjoy a quick change to the new mills boundary walk, which I hope to do in the future.
All local but found new footpaths for most. First loop on big moor over to houndkirk , burbage valley and longshaw.
Second loop was Dick and Linns Thursday walk, Big moor reservoir, pools and across to white edge.
A not too hilly 12 miles, with a very good meal at the Grouse Inn, joined by a few others, including Charles.
Congratulations to Dave C for doing a full Thursday walk with the other group so soon after his knee op. Good to see you out and about.
