    For any non-bikers interested in hill walking this w/e, here’s some suggestions.

    For a 10ish mile circuit over the highest tops of the Berwyns (Cadair Bronwen, C. Berwyn, Moel Sych) the nearest start is Llandrillo (along the A5 to Corwen then south). OS Landranger 125.

    Llantysilio Mountain (a modest hill, really) west of the A542/Horseshoe Pass could be a shorter trip for Sunday. Park at 198434 (OS 116) a couple of miles from Llangollen.

    Offa’s Dyke/Trevor Rocks from the hostel for a low level / bad weather alernative.
