Limestone peaks of the Peak District walk
One thing the Peak District is a bit short of is limestone peaks. This scenic walks takes up two of the finest peaks in the limestone part of the Peak and goes on to ascend a rounded high point that, as with the peaks previously climbed, gives outstanding views. Though the distance of the walk is only 8 miles there is some ascent and descent to add to what promises to be a great days walking.
Meet in the market place area of Longnor (GR088649 Post Code SK170NT). Parking is available in the market place and along the nearby roads.
Start time 10.30.
If anyone needs a lift from Sheffield I have room for two.
