Kathy would like club members to know that John passed away peacefully last night, with her and his children around him.
As members will know, John had been battling with his health for some years, and was hopeful of a bone marrow transplant. Unfortunately the final treatment did not work, and he returned home to spend his last days in Hathersage. All of us will wish Kathy and his children strength in these times.
Information about the funeral will follow.
