    Just in case weather is better on Sunday, is it worth thinking about a local alternative? What do you think, ? Linda.

    The fore cast for the Peak is almost the same as Ilkley. I keep watching for any substantial changes but it only seems to be getting worse in the morning.
    It appears to stop raining at 2:30 in the Peak. I am happy to go anywhere, but not keen on risking a 100m round trip for a rainy day. If it stays as forecast we could go to Lawrencefield and take advantage of the sheltered late afternoon/evening. I am open to suggestions of where people would like for an afternoon/evenings climb.

    sounds like a good idea. might want to put as new post, as second post does not automatically go into peoples in box, only on forum? linda
