Sunday 6 April from 10am Harborough Rocks
A great early season venue for friendly trad, soloing and bouldering. The rock is dolomitic limestone making for short, steep and pockety climbing. A great intro to real rock after a winter indoors.
Harborough is 1.5km northeast of Brassington village (DE4 4HA) off Manystones Lane, a minor road between Brassington and Wirksworth.
Park 100m east of the obvious factory entrance and follow track past the works to the rocks. Grid ref SK 242 552.
If you need further info get in touch. If you need a lift or can offer one, let me know. David

A great day with 15 of us climbing and bouldering.
A cool but sunny start led to warmer conditions as the sun came onto the crag, enabling us to relax and watch others climbing. Visibility was excellent so the dinghys racing on Carsington Reservoir could be clearly seen as could Ratcliffe power station on the River Trent. Lets hope for many more climbing days like this during the year.
