Froggatt Edge. Meet at Great Slab Area from 10am. Lots of great routes of all grades and a good forecast at present. Join our Norwegian friends for a classic gritstone day. Park near The Grouse Inn either in roadside lay
byes or the National Trust car park (charges apply). A flat path starts from the white gate (OS ref SK 254776) 500m south of The Grouse and leads to the top of the crag. Easiest access to the Great Slab area is to walk to the end of the crag and double back under Chequers Buttress. If you need a lift or further info contact me. David

A great day with hot sunshine attracted 21 of us to climb a wide variety of routes from the fairly straightforward to more challenging routes such as Tody’s Wall and Three Pebble Slab.
It got so warm that most of us adjourned to The Grouse in late afternoon for a well deserved drink.
A reminder to be aware of ticks which are increasingly common. I picked up two, I think on this day. David
