Duddon Valley Camping Meet. June 24th-26th

One week to go to Duddon valley meet.

At far as I am aware, Castle Club have booked at least 12 spaces with 20+ folk going. See campsite is filling up now, hopefully with more Castle folk, which would be great.

Just wanted to mention £1 coins needed for shower.

Am really looking forward to it with plan for my climbing harness to make an appearance after many years!

I aim to get there early on Thursday aftrenoon.

Hope to get there tomorrow evening. Really looking forward to it despite forecast! Our move has just happened. Boxes to eye level. I’ve found tent and most of my camping and climbing kit – except my stove as yet. If anyone can very kindly brew an extra mug of morning tea….?

I’m now planning to drive up very early Saturday morning arriving at the campsite about 9am. Weather permitting I’m really keen to climb at Wallowbarrow Crag as I’ve never climbed there before.
