Dovedale Walk Sunday 14th January

Meet at the car park in Mill Dale G.R. 137548 at 10.30am.
The walk will descend Dove Dale to Ilam Rock then climb (steeply) to the top of Dovedale Wood and continue along the western edge of the dale to Air Cottage and Ilam Tops Farm.
Depending on conditions we will either continue to Bunster Hill with its spectacular views and steep descent,or,take the easier descent to Ilam and walk over to the Izac Walton Hotel.After reaching the southern entrance to Dovedale there will be an option to climb Thorpe Cloud before continuing up the Dale past Ilam Rock with a finish up Hall Dale and the intervening ridge before the final descent to Mill Dale.
Distance (depending on options taken) 9 to 10 miles.
