    Hi,

Can anybody give me a lift to the Dales meet, leaving Sheffield after work on Friday 5th June, back on the Sunday?
Happy to climb with anybody or walk / run if its damp. I can lend camping kit if anybody needs it. As courtesy – phone and book into the site on the farm if you are going. Pay on arrival.

The Chew valley meet at Dovestones Edge is actually on Sunday 21st [not 20th – as on list]. Does anybody want to go over Saturday – climb in the afternoon / evening, and bivi in Chew area. Wonderful crag in the evening. Best get in touch Wednesday 17th when we see the forecast. Otherwise – does anybody want to leave Sheffield 8.0am Sunday to make the best of the day? If staying overnight the Dove stone reservoir car park 013,035, has ‘no overnight parking’ signs. Might be better at Binn green 018,044.

For those who are time rich and can get up there – the easy gullies on Ben Nevis are all complete. I’d have got to the top of Observatory gully last w/e if the man with me had had crampons. Other routes are ‘in’ if freezing level drops. Alpine!

    all the best
    Geoff
