Climbing Meet Sunday 7th July – Dovestone Tor

Dovestone Tor/ Back Tor. Assuming that the weather is OK, I propose to head there for a nice civilised 10am start.

Currently planning to head up Foulstone Delf as it’s a shorter and easier walk. There’s no phone signal by the road there, so if anyone is planning to go and wants to meet me for the walk up, please let me know well in advance. I suggest anyone aiming to walk up from Cutthroat Bridge does the same.

Looks OK on Met Office. Sunshine, low percentage oof a light shower. Have fun. We can’t carry cclimbing gear that far nowadays.

Right, much as I’d like to be at dovestone tor tomorrow, it’s a long walk in the rain, so it’s off.

If anyone would like to suggest an indoor alternative then go ahead, but I’ll not join you as I picked up a VERY hot pan earlier while cooking 300 burgers and my fingers really hurt.
