Hopefully a drier day next Sunday.
A great variety of routes on one of the best trad limestone crags in the Peak. Some routes are rather polished! There is also sports climbing and bouldering.
There are easy routes but the classics are VS and above. See the BMC’s Peak District North or Rockfax for full details.
Good off-road parking in lay-by just west of the village on the left of the main A623. Walk along the main road to the track running below the crag. Garage Buttrass with its sports routes is the first climbing encountered. The buttresses continue all the way to the road up to Eyam.
