Most people are taking road bikes intending to cycle on road or unsurfaced tracks rather than full on mountain biking. There is plenty of great cycling of all types including extensive MBT trails in Gisburn Forest. Marian has worked out a route for one of the days.
Weather permitting we hope to climb one of the days – probably sports climbing.
DavidI’ve looked at on road bike rides from the hut and have 3 suggestions. Favourite is ingleton, kingsdale, dent, barbondale (or lune valley) circuit. Other possibilities: circuit south via slaidburn or else circuit via high bentham, ingleton, austwick, giggleswick taking in part of sustrans way of roses route. Just some ideas. Fingers crossed for good weather. Marian
