Christmas Walk – 20th December

Hi All,
Meet at Curbar Gap GR.261747
The route to the Grouse, our lunchtime venue, will go via Curbar and Froggatt edges
with the traditional hunt for “ginger frogs” around coffee break time.
Our intention is to arrive at the Grouse at approx. 12.45 so those just coming for
lunch know what time to meet us in the rear room.
The return journey will go via White Edge with the option for those wishing to walk off
their lunch to take in Wellington’s Monument and Baslow Edge.
The shorter version is 6 miles, extending the walk adds another 2.25 miles approx.
There will shortly be a note listing the lunchtime menu for the Grouse.
They have asked for all food requests by a week before the 20th so could I
kindly ask you to text me details prior to the 13th on 07468 697805.
Remember Christmas hats and sparkly outfits are obligatory!
See you at the “Gap” at the usual time of 11am.

Note the Grouse pub has just advised the Christmas Turkey lunch will cost £11.
