The CMC Christmas weekend away is to be held at Stokes Barn, located in Much Wenlock, Shropshire. It’s anew location for the Club and we are looking forward to exploring the area. Nearby, there are opportunities for cycling, walking, climbing and also plenty of historical/cultural sites.
This weekend is now full.
Celebrity chef for the annual dinner on Saturday night will be Marian Birkett, who has created another exciting menu choice for this year: Choices for three course meal are:
Starter – Vaguely spicy lentil soup OR Leek tart on a bed of salad
Main – Beef in sauce a Marian OR Nut roast with mushroom sauce (both served with seasonal vegetables)
Dessert – Rosie’s Christmas pudding OR Christmas trifle OR Fresh fruit salad
If you have not already made your choice, please let me know asap please.For this year we are organising a Secret Santa present exchange. Please buy a present could be given to anyone,

Thanks for all the info about the xmas meet, it looks a really good venue. I haven’t made my food choices yet so I’ll go for the lentil soup , beef and Christmas pudding. I like the secret santa idea, should be fun. See you soon. Judith x
