Chapel Stiles, Ambleside Camping 23-25th June

Hi all,
Camping at Chapel Stiles is at the BayBrown Farm Campsite. You do not book, just turn up. The campsite don’t allow groups, howver, Andrew has spoken to them as as long as we are descete, it’s totally fine for us to go there.

There’s plenty to do, climbing and walking. I’ll be getting there Wednesday evening for a 2 day wild camp walk (if anyone wants to join me, let me know!) and staying until Monday. Most people, I’m guessing will be arriving Fri and departing Sun.

Kial is going so will be looking for climbing partners.

Hope to see lots of you there.

I’ll put a message out a few day prior to get an idea of who’s thinking of going.

UPDATE
Of the people that I know that were thinking about going to this meet, they have messaged me to say that they aren’t heading to the Lakes after looking at the forecast.
Camping in a small tent with a wet dog with heavy rain, gales, potential thunder storms and high risk of a midge infestation, has not really enthused me, so I’m also bailing.
Good luck to anyone you does go and I hope the weather forecasts are proven wrong!
