BMC review of land designation under the CROW act.
The BMC is contributing to the review of designation of access land under the CROW act.
This is an opportunity to put right past mapping errors; connect up ‘island’ parcels of land with rights of way; and nominate new areas as access land (especially those with crags on them).
If you want to suggest changes or additions you’d like to see in our area please contact Jon Fullwood, the access and conservation officer at the BMC. office@thebmc.co.uk
Ideally you could provide full location details and a highlighted map.
Attached are background to the mapping exercise and maps of areas already proposed for remapping. Several of these are in the Peak District.
