The next BMC Safeguarding and Child Protection Awareness Training course is at 5pm on Monday 4th January.
This is an introductory course. It is free to BMC volunteers who support activities involving under 18s – such as Club Youth Officers, Club Welfare Officers as well as BMC Area Youth Coordinators and those who help with the Junior Climbing Teams and at the BMC Youth Climbing Series.

Cost: Free to BMC volunteers and members of BMC affiliated clubs who support activities involving under 18s
Venue: The Climbing Lab, Units 14 & 15 Kirkstall Industrial Park, Kirkstall Road, Leeds, LS4 2AZ
Training will be delivered by Alan Weightman who is an experienced climber, hill walker, & mountain user and accredited by Sports Coach UK to deliver this course.
Those attending will receive a certificate of attendance that can be used as proof of attendance in other sporting contexts across the country, including those registering for coaching awards.
