Info from the BMC:
The next BMC Peak Area meeting will be on Wednesday 20th January at the Maynard Arms, Grindleford, at 7.30pm.
The agenda, the notes from the last meeting on 18th November, and the January edition of the Peak Area Newsletter can be found on the BMC website at http://community.thebmc.co.uk/Event.aspx?id=3549
There will be a bit of an “Eastern Edges” theme, as we’ll have updates from both the Stanage / North Lees estate and the Eastern Moors Partnership. They’ll also be talking about their future plans, so this if you have any ideas or comments to make, this will be a good opportunity… and remember it isn’t just about climbing!
Of course life doesn’t revolve around the Eastern edges, or climbing, and there’ll be access updates from around the region as well as from our Hill Walking representatives.
After the meeting, Bill Gordon will tell us a bit about what goes on behind the scenes at Stanage and some of its history.
There will also be an opportunity to buy ring ouzel t-shirts and mugs, and of course your Stand up for Stanage 2016 stickers! You can pay for these by card, so don’t worry if you haven’t got enough cash in your wallet.
