Belaying on real rock – Saturday 5th Feb.
This session will cover placing natural protection in rock and using it to make a belay. It’s aimed at people who have not climbed outdoors and want to learn how to do this.
Meet at Surprise View car park on the A6187, GR 252,800, 1.45pm, Saturday 5th Feb.
Bring harness, and a helmet if you have one. Bring your own rack of gear if you have any, but we can provide it. If the weather is too poor for outdoors, we will retreat to the club room in Sheffield.
