This year, my long Thursday walk will be on 8th August. A circular one this time, the New Mills Parish Boundary Walk. 18.35 miles and about 3600 feet of ascent. There is a leaflet ,downloadable about the walk, or New Mills Heritage centre gives them away. It looks like a good varied walk.
Plan to find a pub to have a group meal at the end in New Mills. Will be starting very close to train station if people prefer not to drive.
More details nearer the time, plus I will need numbers for the pub. Cheers Linda

Have checked out the pub, Pride of the Peak, and it’s booked. Train from Sheffield arrives in New Mills Central at 8.03am. Car parking at Torr Top car park, £2.40 for all day. As you come into New Mills come to a small roundabout, with big bus area on left, and heritage centre. Train station is first left, about 200m.
For the parking, at the roundabout, go second left, which is slightly right . The pub, Pride of the Peak is here. Turn immediately right down Rock street and follow this down and right ,only 100m, to parking. We will meet there at 8.30am.
Pub postcode is SK22 4AA. Hoping to be at pub for 6pm ish…. Cheers Linda

Aim to be at the pub by 6pm to 6.30pm. Can you let me know if you want to book in for a meal, whether or not you are doing the walk.
I am ringing in numbers, not food choices, on Monday. Cheers Linda
