It’s my meet this Sunday 16th at Shining Clough, Bleaklow.
Meet 10:30 at roadside parking GR082994 (SW corner of Woodhead Reservoir). Weather forecast looking a bit showery at the moment so it may be worth moving the meet closer to Sheffield nearer the time to save people the long drive out. Keep an eye on this post for updates nearer the time.
Simon 07813327084Hi all. Right, executive decision made. I have consulted and cross-referenced 4 different weather apps, all of which forecast prolonged rain through the night until 10am Sunday morning. With Shining Clough not being renowned for drying quickly and with it being a fair old journey to get there , I have decided to move the meet to Burbage North (weather looks better a bit further south).
Meet at the Burbage Bridge end (stone monument) at 10:30am and we can head down to Tharf Cake and Brooks’ Layback area, if it’s not raining.
