As part of the 50th anniversàry year, I have decided to do my own challenge. Elen will be coordinating the challenge week in July, with group ideas. Sean is looking into the new Peak District Boundary walk as a club challenge. I plan to join in these too.
My challenge is to do 50 different /new activities. So climbing on new crags, walks on all new footpaths, cycling all new roads/trails, and try new activities (without spending too much). I aim to share these experiences with club members where possible.
So far I have climbed at 5new crags, done 4 totally new walks, and a couple of new cycle routes. I have plans to cycle in Norfolk and Isle of Man, places I have never been to. I am going sailing in Estonia. I am booked to learn to fly hawks. Marianne has offered to take me to play indoor tennis, and Dave C is offering canoeing in the Lakes in that wobbly blow up canoe! I am looking for other ideas, suggestions, offers so please let me know!
So what is your challenge this year?? Cheers Linda.
