11 club members met at Curbar Gap car park in cool but dry weather. The walk took in Baslow Edge, Wellington’s Monument and Swine Sty. The coffee break was taken overlooking Big Moor where we were treated to a good view of a large herd of Red Deer but no sign of the Great Grey Shrike.
The walk continued over White Edge to a relatively sheltered lunch before dropping down to the Grouse Inn, along Froggatt and Curbar Edges back to the car Park. Around 7.6 miles with very little mud for a change.
