Towards the end of last Thursday’s walk a couple of us were mulling over the possibility of doing some of the classic Peak District walks during this 50th anniversary summer – either the Marsden-Edale or the Eastern Edges, or both – and we wondered who else might be interested. We also wondered about the possibility of a 50 mile route, possibly done over two days, possibly done as a ‘relay’ with stages which members could dip in and out of as they pleased. Dates would be negotiable and would have to avoid clashes with existing club meets. If you are interested, have any ideas or suggestions please let me or Sean J know
