7 members set off from Taddington, the 1st mile being up a steep climb, but after that the going was fairly easy. W must have come close to a new record for styles, which added interest. After lunch, we were tactfully informed that we were not on the footpath, and after back tracking, found a sign, about 2 inches square, that the path was diverted, not on the map. The walk finished with a rather nettly track back to the cars
