The June camping meet in Langdale is one not to be missed. With masses of climbing on some classic crags of all grades, a wide variety of walks and scrambles as far as the top of England and a couple of ‘proper’ pubs within walking distance!!
We will be staying at the National Trust Great Langdale site, which is very convenient and saves car-parking fees at the Old Dungeon Ghyll, to help offset the cost.
YOU DO NEED TO PRE-BOOK A CAMPING or CAMPER VAN PITCH.for the nights of Fri 24 and Sat 25 of June. Unfortunately they don’t take bookings for groups of more than 4 people, so individual booking is essential. Preferably online at
