Sun, sea and sports climbing!
If Carlsberg were making an advert about sports climbing rather than beer then this is where they would chose.
Linda and I are flying out there on October 20th, probably for three weeks. Are there any of you who fancy some late Autumn action?
There is an inspiring new Greek guidebook (in English) containing over 3700 routes with plenty in the lower grades. Many crags are only as short walk from the village where most climbers stay. Virtually every crag is within 30 minutes drive by car or scooter. Accommodation and food are very reasonable. There is a large range of places to eat out although most accommodation is in studio apartments with basic cooking facilities.
It would make sense to come as a climbing team of two or more which would also help with accommodation costs.
