We have just learnt from his niece Gillian, the sad news that 92 year old Charles Knowles died this morning, Friday 25th July after a recent illness.
In December 2023, Charles had moved from Sheffield to join his brother Bob, to live in the same care home in Keighley, but sadly Bob himself had passed away 6 months ago.
Certainly the end of an era.
The funeral will take place in Skipton, and I will post details when I know them.
