Newtonmore 7th – 14th March 2026
We have booked 8 places in the SMC hut at Newtonmore; arriving on the 7th March and departing on the 14th; 7 nights.

This is 5 miles from Dalwhinnie and 3 miles from Laggan on A889. Well situated for the Northern cairngorms, the Laggan hills and Craig Meagaidh. So good for winter climbing and walking. If the snow has gone there is also rock climbing on Creag Dhubh, Binnean Shuas, Huntley’s Cave and the sunny Nairn coast.
The hut fee is £20 per night.
